Andrea & Andrew

andrea-and-andrew
Okay, how cute are they!? That is Swatchbook couple Andrea & Andrew, looking absolutely fantastic and fashionable. Do I need to state the obvious that her outfit matches their invitations? Pretty. Much. Awesome. Their photographer, Jeanette LeBlanc posted their engagement photos yesterday and I just about died - be sure to check back to her blog to see the second half of their engagement session...in a junkyard!

TUESDAY SHOES-DAY

randall-pump
Hmm, maybe I should issue this shoe as a challenge? This heel height is pretty extreme, but wow, are they ever gorgeous. I know there's a bride out there somewhere who can pull these off! I've shown the silver ones, but they are also available in white & black.

Cupcakes!

Oh and here I am researching something to blog about - how could I forget I made these cupcakes!? Cookies & cream! Turned out a little bit better than the gingerbread house :)

It's About How You Felt

aaliciawedding
I love these felt hair accessories! I just can't get enough of this trend - or aaliciawedding's shop! (See one of her cuffs in a previous post) It seems to me that felt flowers are popping up everywhere in DIY land, and not just for weddings. From wreaths to bouquets, I love the organic, casual feel that these accents can bring to your home, or your big day.

Happy Rainy Day!

rain-boots-and-puddle
The crazy weather has hit Phoenix & it’s about as gloomy as it can be outside. We are so spoiled with the sunshine all the time — it’s kind of nice to get a break. And (right now anyway) it's a really nice rain. Usually it’s a mess of dust & rain during our monsoon season — ever seen a haboob? ((cough, cough)) Yeah, it’s gross.

Happy rainy day!

Nice Try, Dad

MeandDad
Obviously this is the best post you've ever seen. I can only guess I was in 5th grade or so when this was taken & look at me, I am planning my future right there at that desk. Did you guys ever do "Take Your Daughter to Work Day?" Well here I am, sitting with my Dad learning how he crunches numbers for a living while "may the force be with you" scrolls across that computer screen. As if I could've taken a more opposite path in life...nice try, Dad.

I Promise I'm Not a Stalker...

…is what I wrote to Joe this morning because I just can’t get enough of his wedding! I featured their felt flowers, (made by the bride herself!) in a previous post, but that was just a peek at this unique celebration. Look at these photos! This seriously just looks like FUN, doesn’t it?!

Top Dog Toppers

TheSmallObject
Okay, these are just so cute I can't stand it! Animal owners know that their furry friends are more than just a pet, they're a member of the family. I know mine are! If your little companion deserves a nod to his loyalty at your wedding, then these cake toppers are perfect! You can customize the bride & groom, then pick your pet of choice. Home Plates

Martha-Stewart
oOOoOoOo, so pretty!! Oh Martha, you never cease to amaze me. I used to think registering for fine dishware was kind of old fashioned but, this ain't your grandma's china. Nowadays there are some really great modern patterns out there including these by Martha Stewart. I am a huge fan of the clean designs and funky prints. I guess when you're younger you don't really understand why you have to do the dishes when there are perfectly good plates & cups in the china cabinet, but alas, when you get older you realize the need. These are perfect: fun, funky, formal. Martha Stewart Fine China

TUESDAY SHOES-DAY

Reebok-Easy-Tone
No these aren't for a bride who needs a quick getaway! Slip these shoes on to help you get in shape for you wedding day - or really, your honeymoon! Show your bikini who's boss by wearing these Reeboks with "balance ball inspired technology" while you are doing your regular workout to get an extra boost of toning action. Hey, it can't hurt, right? Reebok EasyTone Reinspire, $100

Mint Condition

COBigelow
If you're anything like me, you are not a lipstick fan. The best I can do is a tinted lip gloss & these ones by C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries are the best! You definitely need something on your lips to be picture-perfect for your wedding day, and these will add the perfect hint of natural color and shine. Added bonus - they are infused with 2% peppermint oil so it actually helps keep your breath fresh & minty on your big day! Mentha Lip Tint in various shades, $7.50

Thoughts on this Throwback?

throwback
Have you guys seen these? I saw them for the first time today while shopping & they are pretty neat. Now this goes against everything I believe in, being that I am totally anti-Pepsi, but not only did I look at them, I wanted to figure out what they meant by "throwback." The design? Well, sorta. They're calling it a "throwback" because they are using real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. (What about that commercial with the kool-aid and popsicles that said high-fructose corn syrup wasn't bad for you?) Anywho, you win Pepsi. I came, I saw, I blogged and I liked your designs. What do you guys think??
